Description
According to the searches made by Jorge Bandrés, it seems from inside the book The Cyclopedia of Card and Table Games (1891, edited by Professor Hoffmann, A.J.L.) that Royal Reversi was an extension of the classic Reversi, to be played in 2 to 4 players. Here there's an extraction of page 622 of that book. A Royal Reversi also appears in a photo inside the Ancient boards section.
