The Othello Museum

Reversi Junior

Description
I found this piece on Internet. I believe that this piece is from Clementoni, the logo is visible but the game name is reversi and not Othello, so the board must come from the 1980s when Clementoni couldn't use the Othello mark yet. The board is exactly the same as the Clementoni one, but with changed colours. It has to be noted the darker ring on the board: the very first 1800 reversis had this pattern, while in Othello it has been substituted by the (cleaner) 4 black dots. Please note also the starting position depicted on the box, that is not the usual Othello one.

Although generally strange colours lead to not clean position's look, I think that this board is not so bad after all.
